“Eat und zen…valk around a bit more perhaps?” he offered as he went to get what he needed for the sandwiches. The soup was just about finished now.

Marga eyed him curiously and nodded. “Of course! You really should tour me around. I cannot walk much due to my bruder’s warnings, but I’m sure I’m safe with you!”

Aldrich chuckled and turned to look at her so he could wink as well. “Ja, ja!” he said and then went back to what he was doing. “Oh, have you come across ze team’s whiteboard yet? It can be quite amusing at times.”

“I am not sure. Well I do came across it but I just stared and moved along,” she replied with a shrug. “If there are interesting to see then I will have a look at it later.”

“A lot of ze ozers write zings back und forth on zere. Sometimes zere are drawings as vell, zough sometimes zey get altered by ze ozers as vell,” he said and chuckled.

Marga’s eyes lit up. “It must be fun reading those notes! Ja, we shall look it up later when we walk! I will try to write some notes for mein bruder…” she trailed off, putting a hand on her mouth and let out laugh similar to villains in the books.

Aldrich shook his head slowly and chuckled. “Vhat plans are in zat mind of yours, hm?” he asked as he began to serve up the soup into the bowls he had taken down.

“Oh nothing harmful,” she said, letting out a tinkling laugh and waving a hand at him. “I’m just going to put some silly notes und that’s just about it.”

“Ah, is zat so?” he said as he brought over a plate and bowl for her. “Nozing embarrassing?” he asked as he set them down in front of her. He then went back to the counter to grab his and sit down with her.

[Erebos’ Prelude AU] Song of the Darkness

At one glance, Darcia was sure that the wolf clan was antsy on that day. Everyone had been making preparations on something she’s not aware of. One thing’s for sure in her current situation though - they all need to make sure that Darcia will not be killed or abducted or whatever the others would try to do with her.

Her mother had specifically made a snow-white dress for her. She commented that the color would compliment her skin and face, also adding that Darcia somehow emits radiance. The woman just stared at her, confused.

Her siblings, meanwhile are nowhere to be found. Darcia figured that they went away without seeing her to avoid any unforeseen circumstances that would render her hurt or maybe something worse. She was sad, of course but that’s how the wolf clan avoids bloodshed whenever it’s the full moon.

Marcel was once again back with his clan, though he would rather be elsewhere. He was in a meeting at the moment, but it was almost painfully obvious that he wasn’t paying attention. The voice of the person that was talking at the moment was just noise to him.

Of course, though, it wasn’t long before someone felt the need to try and bring him back into the meeting once again. “Perhaps Marcel has some zoughts on ze situation zat he vould like to share,” that someone, by the name of Viveka, said. Marcel snapped out of his thoughts and tried not to show his surprise.

“Vould you go over ze last few zings said again? I vas getting ahead in my zoughts und missed it,” he said in response.

As the dusk began to blanket the whole village, people had began to close their shops and get whatever they can inside. Unfortunately, their place will always be full of otherworldly creatures in specific dates, and these creatures will not give a second chance in making them live longer.

Since the hidden grand hall for “monsters” are located near the mountains, winged beings began to appear in the skies and make their way to the said place. Blood-red skies began to emit a strange ominous feel as more creatures continued to go down.

“Mother…” Darcia trailed off as she watched them from outside the window. The queen had smoothed out her dress and patted her shoulders. “You’ll be fine. Your father gave you the amulet to mask your scent und, if you are in great danger, will summon the wolf spirit to protect you.”

On the rooftop of the Richter estate there were two long figures watching some of the other creatures take flight towards the mountains. One of the two was preparing to take flight themselves. “Zis is your last chance to take my offer,” they said to the other.

“Just go Viveka. Besides I’m surprised zat you’re not taking off from…vherever your conven meets,” the other, Marcel, said. Viveka chuckled and stretched her wings to their full span.

“I already spoke to zem, so I could be here in case you changed your mind!” she answered with a grin. “But since you seem oh so insistence in  your way I shall take my leave now. See you zere…your highness!” she said with a laugh and took of from the rooftop. Marcel crossed his arms and watched as she began to head towards the mountains as well. He would leave too, just in a little bit.

If only he had his ties with him. The pup would have shown and shared them with them. Then maybe his mother could find the one the he was sure his owner hid in that one room. She was bigger and could maybe see things he couldn’t. For the moment though he went to each of his siblings to sniff them and get to know their scents as well.

Ludwig’s siblings decided to sniff as well, than started running around and encircling them. Barks filled the hallways when Layla and her sons decided to get a little playful to them.

“Well, at least you guys are here…the house has gone too quiet on us,” Shamsel said with a chuckle as she continued to pet Layla.

Ludwig started to run around as well barking happily as he chased after his brothers. He thought it was nice to have others like him to play with as well as his friend. The pup was really happy that his friend let him go with her.

Shamsel slowly sat on the floor and watched as the wolf dogs began to have a world of their own and just play. She was a little jealous, maybe a little lonely that she had no one to talk to at the moment. A long sigh escaped her lips and looked at the window.

Felicia had been laying down still when she first heard barking. She had figured that it had been the little pup that Shamsel had with her that had been making the commotion. It was when she heard other barking in response she first became curious. She sat up but she didn’t move, however after a bit of hearing the barks she couldn’t resist and had to go see what was up. It didn’t take her long before she saw Shamsel with the barking five. “That would make a cute picture,” she said softly with a little giggle.

The woman suddenly noticed that Layla, the biggest one was nudging her on the back. She wondered why the wolf had been acting that way, and decided to stand up and look down on her. In a flash, the wolf stood up and pawed her hands, then began to run somewhere. Shamsel, being curious and all, began to follow to where Layla is going.

Ludwig noticed his mother and his friend going somewhere but stayed with his siblings. He was curious but he wasn’t quite done playing yet either. Felicia titled her head slightly as she continued to watch. She, too, wondering what was going on.

((

Dear Evil!Muse(s),

Could you stop trying to influence me and the things that happen in canon? It’s almost too tempting not to be evil to your other selves. I’m just saying.

Evil!Lisa, stop abusing the fact that respawn exists. I’m sure the others don’t like going through it so much when there aren’t battles.

Evil!Felicia…and oddly(or not) there are a couple of you, it’s never a good thing when I hear you start cackling, but thanks for the warnings anyway.

Evil!Audwin(s)/Marcel/Aldrich, could you not leave such bloody messes? They are such a pain to clean up after.

As for the rest of you…I don’t even know. Just…tone it down or something before I go all evil on you and plan your demises or something like that.

with love,

almighty/mary

The pup wagged his tail curious about what they might see. Even who they might see for that matter. Since he didn’t get out much this was like a treat for him as well.

Sadly enough, the house was getting a little too quiet. After a little chat with Felicia, Shamsel suddenly felt lonelier than before. Other than the woman, there is no one else in the vicinity.

Ludwig tilted his head slightly and yipped softly. His tail wagged a little more   though things seemed quiet the pup was still hopeful. He wasn’t sure why but he yipped again anyway, this time a little louder; maybe someone else would hear him.

A loud bark echoed in the hallways, making Shamsel to jump and look around for the source. Another series of barks followed it, along with small thuds coming from somewhere. “It’s probably your mother.” Shamsel mused.

The pup’s tail was wagging fast now at hearing a response. Ludwig looked up at her again for a few moments before looking around. He then started to bark happily and loudly so they could be found.

Scurrying somewhere, a large wolf dog along with three pups were on their way behind Shamsel and Ludwig. Layla, the female grey wolf gently tugged Shamsel’s pants and encircled them. The woman slowly bent down to pat the dog’s head, earning her a lick in the face.

Ludwig gave a happy yip as his tail was wagging as fast as it could go. He looked at the four who had shown up at his call. It was odd seeing his mother and…siblings, but it was nice too.  When his friend bent down he looked at his mother and took a moment to sniff the air.

Layla sniffed the little puppy as well before starting to lick it. The other pups began to wag their tails, barking and tugging the woman’s pants. Shamsel giggled and gently put Ludwig down so he could play with his siblings.
